Behind the blog

How it all started

The Alcyone started in 2020 and has been growing since then. I started this blog because I wanted to share with the world what I know and to make complex terminologies easy to understand. The “Alcyone” is an ancient Greek word but I chose this name because it also means “the Central One,” and Al Nair, “the Bright One.” This means “The Alcyone” is your skincare central, the right blog to find the right resources and best skin care information.

The Aim of This Blog

  • Provide science-backed knowledge in skincare, hair care, and health.
  • Help readers to make informed choices for their skin and hair.
  • Simplify complex ingredient information for practical, everyday use.
  • Offer personalized tips and advice for skin and healthy hair.
  • Promote a holistic approach to beauty and wellness.
  • Inspire confidence and self-care through expert guidance.
